What’s in a title? Does it have to mean something?

The reason I chose SOMETIMES as the title of my blog is because it covers a vast variety of possibilities. The tagline: Who, What, When, Where, How, and sometimes Why. That old writing crutch is something of a cliche, but I like it because it speaks to the eclectic nature of the blog. I like to have plenty of writing wiggle-room.

At first I really loved the nonsense word that became my address line: Mumbletymuse.com. Once that had become my official WordPress address it became set in stone, so to speak. Mumbletymuse doesn’t mean anything, it came to being once when during an online chat we were discussing old nursery rhymes. But that’s a subject for another post. 😃

So I really don’t want to change my title but I have altered the tag
line…and that image of last summer’s red Hibiscus does have to go.

    1. Ny cat just deleted my reply, so I’ll take that as a sign to rewrite it. Yes, the phrase “Who, What, When, Where, How…and sometimes Why” is much in use in news writing as well as in English-teacher lectures on how to write papers. Mumbletymuse is a nonsense word, which doesn’t really have a meaning although I could make one up. 🙂 Mum-blu-ty-muse. I guess it also could be mumble-tee, but I prefer the first pronouncination. Maybe I’ll elaborate on it…thanks for asking.
