I agree. I too like the rhythm of the Triolet. I checked my library downstairs, NOT ONE book on writing poetry except in a text book “Sounds and Sense” but it deals with reading and interpreting poetry, not writing it. There is a lot of info online, but I enjoy having a real book. 🙂
Yes! I now put writing ahead of anything else…at last. For years it was a special reward that never came. 🙂 You and I have curiosity in common…I wish I could learn everything! 🙂

thank you…you did one a couple weeks ago, and I’ve been working on this one for awhile. I love these “ruled” forms, find them very challenging. 🙂

Yes, I find this one challenging but most satisfying especially when I get the rhythm, meter, rhyme and refrain nicely balanced…. 🙂 Hugs!

I do ok online, when I hear of a form I google it and write it down in my poetry notebook. uh…theoretically…or on an envelope or whatever 🙂
