1. My cat was with me (or I with her) in four living spaces. In each space, she knew how to disappear–so much so that I’d look outside for her. Then when I came in, she’d be sitting in the open with a wry, serene countenance. I did not learn her hiding places. Cats are riddles, as you indicate with question marks. Maybe cats wonder why we never hide. Or don’t take more naps.
