Kitty…
Where do you go
When you vanish like that?
How do you reappear so soon?
Why are you napping now?
What is your game?
Who knows?

That’s “mawkin.” He lives outside…he was spying on us when we were building the floor. 🙂

My cat was with me (or I with her) in four living spaces. In each space, she knew how to disappear–so much so that I’d look outside for her. Then when I came in, she’d be sitting in the open with a wry, serene countenance. I did not learn her hiding places. Cats are riddles, as you indicate with question marks. Maybe cats wonder why we never hide. Or don’t take more naps.

cats are very cool critters. I relate to the hiding in impossible places.

yes…have you ever seen the “puppy bowl” video they show at the games half-time…there are puppies running around playing and generally entertaining humans, and kittens napping. Very funny… herding cats, indeed. 🙂

yes…their rules only seem to apply to non-cats. 🙂 I love cats…animals in general, really.

I am compelled to re-post this photo of MAWKIN and a cat poem from last year. In this shot he was observing our efforts to clean the garage.
