Rain Boots and Puddles

Boots and rain puddles
delight of childhood, irresistible
fun for stomping and splashing.
Shoes work as well,
but Mother can tell…
and does not approve of wet shoes.

But with strong and dry
rubber rain boots
she doesn’t care…
So splash and stomp
and wade and kick…
enjoy it while you can!

For all too soon the day will come
when Boots are not
supposed to get wet…
but it’s not here yet!

      7. He tries to stick to the “allowed” time, but I heard his office people saying that he takes walk-ins, and was not good with schedules… he likes being a GP and not be tied to a specialty. . I did have another issue to discuss with him, but the injury from the fall did take more time because it was part “investigation” It does look like someone beat me up. 🙂

      8. He wants to be like an “old time doctor” that knows patients well. He always has time when a patient really needs to chat…like in the olden days. Now its all about corporate medicine…treat the cold or whatever and move on. It’s too bad…one of the casualties of Obamacare I guess. (Not bad-mouthing Obama…and its about time the US joined the rest of the civilized world in health care. 🙂

      10. oh yeah…I think Obama’s good stuff will continue, and if there’s a decent majority of Dems things will change. The Repubs made a career out of defeating ANYTHING Obama tried to do, that’s why he uses so much executive action.
