thanks! my flowers (weeds and all) cheer me up…the only poetry I seem to try to write is dark. π I see Tim is doing a good job so far…I always say “there’s Mary Ann’s friend!” π

thanks! This isn’t a great year for Hibiscus, it is very hot and humid, I think they prefer other weather. I put up a fence of sort for them to climb on, next year I’ll fix up their bed.

even with the straggely foliage, Hibiscus are beautiful flowers. My red one especially is less thriving than usual, although the few blooms are great.

So glad I have found your site! I think we are kindred spirits. I do not know anyone else who grows – or allows to grow – Queen Anne’s Lace, but is such a beautiful flower.

ah, the Queen Anne’s Lace…it was SO pretty when I took the pictures. The area badly needed to be weed-whacked, but I couldn’t bear to chop the QAL until it ran its course. There are so many beautiful and wonderful things that just are never noticed or appreciated…I may be weird, but that’s ok. π
