biscuit companies…rolled up dough with cinnamon…unroll it and bake it, then squeeze the icing out of the packet when still hot. The height of convenience…good, too.

Sony DSC-HX80. Haven’t had a chance to do much but experiment a bit. So far I love it, easy settings, 30x zoom.

My partner has a less zoomy version – the HX10V. They are pretty nifty compacts. Can see why you like it.

I like the hefty feel of the camera, and the controls are not wimpy like on less expensive cameras. It was pretty pricey for me (about $300) but I used my Christmas money from my kids for it. I’m glad I did…

I’ve been converting old (1980s) slides to digital…I’m going to make the kids (all in their 50s) and grands CDs

I am anxious to accomplish the saving of my thousands of slides while I still can. I have grandkids that are preservation-minded so these family photos can be passed along on different venues for generations. (really) As for my travel photos…that’s a different story, I want to share my pics and knowledge from my travel with…well, whomever…that would not have been accomplished efficiently had the boxes of slides just languished in their containers for years.
