  1. Sadly we’re a long way from spring, here in the Antipodes. Still a couple of months of hot and dry to get through.
I recognized Bob, but who is the tabby? He looks just like my Harry.

      1. Please do! lol I love those grey/tan tabbies. Well, I love them all, but black cats and tabbies have a special spot in my heart. 🙂 Oh, along with white ones and tortoise shells….

      2. Toby has an especially nice striping and colors. He is very symmetrical . I once wrote a poem about his genetic coloring. Pearl is all black, totally. They had a black/white brother, and a light grey one….their Mom was very ecumenical. 🙂

      3. Their mother was a very small black cat that was literally rescued by grandsoninlaw Josh, a carpenter by trade, who came upon two kids tossing the kitten back and forth like a baseball. He stopped, confiscated the kitten, yelled at the kids, and rode around all day with her in his truck. They named her Pearl. She subsequently had the aforementioned four kittens. That’s a whole other story…

      4. Oh! Pearl sounds so much like my Pippi. Tiny, fluffy black rambo kitty, She was the most demonstrative cat I’ve ever had – I think she would have been happy being grafted to my shoulder. And so fierce to cats who invaded her territory. 🙂

      5. lmao – Pippi’s boys [Harry and Golli] are both very affectionate, but Pippi was a total snuggle bunny. Golli just comes and plonks himself on my lap every now and then. And yes, they make reaching the keyboard quite tricky 🙂

      1. Same here. We’ve had days during this summer when it felt more like [our] winter than summer. We’re staring down the barrel of climate change but like the frog in the pot, the change has been so gradual we haven’t felt it until now. 😦

      2. We are back in the climate change game…our new POTUS Joe Biden rejoined the Paris Climate Accord just yesterday. We’re back on the Humanity track. Love it.
