Arctic Wolves

Arctic Wolves are classified as “least concern” on endangered lists of Wolves. The lowest level is due to their relative protection from hunters and habitat destruction in the Arctic. There are approximatly 200,000 Arctic Wolves in the United States and Greenland. Also, there is a Arctic Wolf refuge in Tidewater, Oregon, which has a population of 8 to 10 rescued wolves that live within the 40 acre sanctuary.
Thank you for sharing and it’s nice to know there is an effort to protect Arctic Wolves. They are beautiful animals.
