spring cheer is here…who said “snow?”

Still cold here in Northern Ohio, and we did have snow overnight…but these babies are tired of waiting. I went looking for the daffodills, and the little parrot tulips were a welcome surprise. The little white flowers are called Spring Beauties. So we’re off and running for Spring 2022. (Photos ©Sometimes 2022.)

  1. Gradmama – sorry one of my 10 thumbs must have hit the wrong key. I was responding to your when will they germinate and I saw this ‘comment deleted’ flash across the screen. I think I restored it and it will take several hours to show back in my comments again. About 2 weeks to germinate indoors not withstanding the Bob factor. This is a guess I have not planted indoors in years. I put them direct in the ground outside and start looking for them in about the same time frame. However each seed has its own timer. Sorry about sending the comment to lala land.

    1. I’m not much of a gardener. I would like to grow an avacado. too. I don’t do much on the WordPress Reader, but I know what yu mean about the posts being deleted. I do have a lot of trouble with trying to follow new (to me) sites, and its frustrating to spend awhile on a message, then having it just die in cyberspace somewhere.

  2. PS – my WP reader seems to be partially functioning. So your blog and a few others are not showing up. I tried re-following though WP or my browser did not post the ‘new posts will be in your inbox’ message. Those tulips and daffodils are looking great !

    1. I always miss the first appearance of those little Parrot Tulips. They are up and blooming by the time I get to look for them. The daffodils are cheerfully showing off, and the forsythia is getting ready.
